We are licensed in both Ohio & Pennsylvania and we also carry a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy. We have no problem providing proof, just ask us! We want you to feel comfortable hiring us and know that you are in good hands.
We have been professionally cleaning windows for over 10 years now, both commercial buildings, as well as residential homes. Everything from smaller store fronts to multi-story hospitals to construction cleanups, there isn’t much we haven't come across.
No need to worry about harsh chemicals in your home or business. Believe it or not, we use dawn dish soap as our main ingredient. Occasionally in extreme cold weather we may need to use a washer fluid, but we try to avoid that if we can. We treat your business and/or home just like our own, if we won’t use it around our own children, we won’t use it around you. For larger or trickier jobs, we use our waterfed pole system, which goes through a multi-stage filtration system to clean the windows with 100% pure water.
For the most part, no, weather doesn’t stop us from cleaning your windows or affect your windows. We clean windows all year long, no matter how hot or how cold it is. Rain and snow don’t stop us either, unless it is actually storming outside with blowing rain and high winds. Rain water is actually very pure water. What makes your windows dirty is the dust and pollen in the air, along with bird droppings and bugs, and dirty window screens. Once we clean your windows, they stay clean, even if it is raining while we clean them or it rains shortly after we clean them. You’ll notice that once your window dries, it's back to crystal clear.
For the most part, no, you do not need to be available for us to clean your windows. For our commercial customers, we clean during your business hours, and if you’re not available for some reason or another, we just send you an invoice or we can collect payment the next time we stop out. For our residential customers, it depends on the service being done. If we are cleaning just the outside only of your house windows, we simply ask that you remove any screens so we have access to your windows and then you do not need to worry about being at home to have your windows cleaned. We will come and clean the outside of your windows and leave an invoice for you when we are done. If we are cleaning the inside and outside of your house windows, you only need to be home to let us in the door, and then you are free to leave if you wish-we will clean the inside and outside of all your windows, leave you an invoice, and lock up on our way out. Simply put, we truly try to make having your windows cleaned by us as hassle-free as possible.
When you hire us, there isn’t a whole lot to worry about. We are there so you don’t have to do any of the work. However, there are a few things that make our job a little easier and would benefit you as well:
Blinds: if you have blinds in the windows, it is helpful to clean any dust that may come into contact with your clean windows prior to us coming. This helps extend the time in between window cleanings as well.
Personal belongings & fragile items: it is helpful to both us and to you to move any personal belongings and fragile items away from the windows, as well as remove any decor you have hanging in the windows. This gives us access to your windows so we can do our job properly. We don’t expect you to have to go moving heavy furniture. We have no problem sliding furniture out of our way to gain access to a window, However, if you have a lot of things in front of your windows that adds a significant amount of time to our window cleaning, such as having a display shelf in front of a window that requires us to remove each item from the shelving unit prior to moving the shelving unit away from the window, we are going to charge extra for that.
Ensure outside water spigots are available to us if needed. Some jobs require more than just a squeegee. If we need to use our waterfed pole system for bigger jobs, we do need access to water in order to use the system.
Again, there is no one size fits all solution to window cleaning. There are many factors that play into the price of a window cleaning such as: the size of the windows, the number of windows there are, the type of windows you have, the frequency that you have your windows professionally cleaned, and how easy your windows are to access. This is why we provide free no-obligation estimates. Our commercial window cleanings start at $10, our residential window cleanings start at $135, and our add on services start at $1.
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
There is no one size fits all solution to window cleaning. Commercial customers need window cleanings more frequently than residential customers due to foot traffic and the fact that windows are the first thing a customer notices when approaching a business. Other factors that also affect window cleaning frequency are the environment itself. If you are surrounded by a lot of trees or water, pollen and minerals will collect on your windows faster. We can suggest a window cleaning frequency that we think is best for you based on our experience and taking into consideration your unique circumstance, and we let you make an informed decision based on that. If you’re on the fence about choosing a frequency and budget is a major concern, it is usually best to go with our minimum recommendation, and if you find that after that you need your windows cleaned more frequently, just give us a call and we will come more frequently for you. Our customers are never under any contract, you choose your service, your frequency, and if you ever need to pause or cancel service for any reason, we pause or cancel your service. The majority of our commercial customers are cleaned every 2 weeks or once a month. The majority of our residential customers are cleaned twice a year- once in the spring, and once in the fall.
Having your windows cleaned professionally saves you money and extends the life of your windows. Overtime, dirt, dust, minerals, and other things collect on your windows and can scratch and etch the glass which damages the window. Keeping your windows clean can extend the time your windows last. Professional window cleaners are also trained to spot potential problems with your windows such as damaged glass, damaged frames, and seal failure. Damaged seals cause air leaks which result in higher energy bills.
Clean windows also make everything fresher. When windows are clean and shiny, more natural light gets in, which not only looks more welcoming, but saves on energy bills as well because less lights need to be turned on. Clean windows are also a reflection of you, whether it is your home or your business.
Some businesses choose to have their window cleaning done in-house by their employees. The problem with this is the task itself can often be overwhelming for employees because they are not trained on how to properly clean a window and when they are cleaning windows it takes valuable time away from your business. Let your employees focus on your customers instead of the windows.
